The digital instalment of the windows within different settings really allowed me to get a feel for what it was that my work embodied. Seeing them in this type of setting made them seem grand and important, more so that the ones I placed within the University's window. Their surroundings certainly make a large impact on their poignancy. Although the illustrations do not hold religious connotations, simply placing them within the Cathedral setting seems to immediately thrust them into this realm.

At the start of this project, I found myself wanting to move in a more secular direction, however when I had time to really consider what it was that I was making, I realised that secular and non-secular stained glass doesn't necessarily have to be separated, they are both decorative pieces meant to uplift and bring serenity. Upon discovering that some Cathedrals had windows that were more abstract in style, I realised that my windows could also fit within this setting and they did so successfully.
