Photography

When photographing some of my work in the studio., I realised that some of the coloured cellophane pieces I created worked as gels with my camera. I decided to take them out around Huddersfield and photograph some of the architecture in a new way, adding a layer of colour over the top. In a way, this seemed as though they were being looked at through a stained glass window.

I really liked the way that they turned out and the contrasting colours worked really well. Although they won't be used in the final pieces, it was nice to try something new and use different skills to create new works.
