Though I liked the new secular designs I had created, I still felt that the shapes they were composed of were liked with religion, this is most likely because I used my religious window drawings to create these new windows. Therefore I felt that I needed to explore something new and develop some different designs, ones that were linked to more secular themes.

After looking into different stained glass artists, I felt that the seasons and foliage might be a nice topic to look into. I was also inspired by the fallen autumn leaves. The golden colours were rich and vibrant, they reminded me of the colours used in more traditional stained glass.
